Google Enhances Business Profiles For Stores With Delivery & Pickup

Google is adding more information to Search and Maps about businesses that offer options for grocery delivery and pickup.

The information is getting added to search automatically, which means there’s no work needed on the part of businesses, but it’s an update worth being aware of.

This addition to Google Search and Maps is rolling out as part of a larger update which includes a number of other useful features.

We’ll look at the other features at the end of this article – let’s first go over the enhancements to Google My Business profiles.

Millions More to Get Stimulus Payments Next Week, I.R.S. Says

Share of black employees in senior US finance roles falls despite diversity efforts

Black employees held a lower share of top US financial services jobs in 2018 than they did more than a decade earlier, according to new research by the Financial Times, underlining the shortcomings of Wall Street’s long-running efforts to improve racial diversity.

The FT analysed the most recently available anonymised data on the demographics of 3.6m staff across 13,000 financial services employers in the US from 2007 to 2018. All companies with more than 100 staff were required to submit the information to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission from 2007.

Some home insurance rates increase in the Ozarks after hail storm last spring

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Home insurance rates could go up this year even for homeowners who didn’t file a claim. A new State Farm study finds Missouri ranked as one of the top states for hail damage claims in 2020. A local insurance agent explained about how that could affect rates all across the Ozarks.

“I’ve seen some pretty crazy increases,” said insurance agent Kyle Williams.

Williams said the rate to renew an insurance policy on a home typically increases every year.

“The cost of repairing a house is going to go up year by year anyways,” he said.
